#113 Barlaeus Gymnasium | Concrete Interior design of an 1884 national monument and an 1879 municipal monument that were united into a single educational institution: the Barlaeus gymnasium. The challenge was to combine old and new into a single entity in which students and teachers could fully concentrate on education in an inspiring and modern environment. Areas such as classrooms, the multimedia library, auditorium, sports hall, gym, multifunctional space, staff room, students’ plaza and audio studios contributed to this.
