#081 Barra Barra has been used during the six-month renovation period, and due to its temporary nature, has a certain guerrilla-like character. If you look closely, you’ll notice ‘Barra’ spelt out on the white tiled walls, a reference to the house style. The floors, ceiling and walls are painted grey. Black spots lead all the way to the back, where a plain yet inviting, atmospherically- lit tapas bar catches the eye. Tables are simple but elegantly set. The best part of the table setting is the placemat, a piece of ‘off-the-roll’ fish wrapping paper on which guests give their creativity free rein. Felt-tipped pens are also provided and the guests can doodle while they are enjoying their drinks. The most creative works are given a place of honour on the wall. |
